Fun fact answer: Actually, Rosa Parks was sitting in the "Colored Section" of the bus and was asked to stand because a white person wanted a seat. Her refusal to move led to her arrest and started a bus boycott that lasted more than a year under the leadership of the Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr. It finally resulted in a Supreme Court decision that overturned segregation in public transportation.
